Zeitgeist Steampunk is a Live Role-Playing game set in an alternative reality where Germany was unified by Bismarck a century before it’s time and went on to become the governing power of all Europe.
The Empire has dived into the turbulent waters of Scientific Research. Improved armour, weapons and vehicles are being tested on the Turkish frontier while beneath the city streets crucibles and cauldrons bubble, steam, and threaten terrible possibilities. Much is to be gained by a Lord who can assemble a team of Scientists about him capable of fulfilling the Government's need for Tech.
Beneath this gleaming layer of industry crawl the Proles, those who provide distraction, difficulty and disectables to those above, ever trying to survive, ever trying to edge a little further away from their oh-so-humble beginnings. As long as those above need what they cannot get, there will be a market for whatever you are able to sell.
And to one side, ever watchful, ever waiting for the Heretic to show itself before the blade, the Knights Templar; the hand of God on Earth sent by both the Vatican and Constantinople to see that none of this foul research goes too far...
